CHOCOLATE MUD CAKE

INGREDIENTS
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup canola or any vegetable oil or melted butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup choco chips (optional)

For Ganache:
1 cup chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips
1 cup cream (I used amul fresh cream)

For sprinkling: 
1/2 cup White chocolate chips


 


METHOD
In a bowl, mix together eggs, powdered sugar, oil and whisk with electric beater or hand beater till it becomes creamy and smooth.

In another bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder.

Mix wet ingredients i.e egg, sugar batter in flour mix.

Mix well, add milk little by little and keep mixing, if required add more milk to get right consistency.

Grease baking mould and pour the batter.

Bake in pre-heated oven at 180 degree Celsius and bake it for 25-30 minutes.

1. Beat together egg, sugar, vanilla essence











2. Till creamy and sugar gets dissolved.










3. Mix together all the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder.










4. Mix beaten eggs and sugar.










5. Add milk.










6. Mix well with light hands and add chocolate chips.










7. Bake in pre-heated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 20-25 minutes or till skewer comes out clean.










8. It's ready. Let it come down to room temperature.











9. Once cooled, slit it into two parts.



For Ganache:









1. In a bowl, heat cream, when bubbles start coming switch off the gas, don't boil.










2. Keep chopped dark chocolate ready in bowl, immediately pour hot cream over it, cover and keep aside for 2 minutes.










3. Mix well and get smooth and silky texture like this. If required warm it in microwave.










4. Spread ganache on one slice.










5. Put other slice over it and spread ganache all over.















6. Sprinkle white chocolate chips.















7. Slice and serve.
